Мета:визначити якість засвоєння мовного та мовленнєвого матеріалу, ознайомити учнів з правилами читання голосних і,у у відкритому наголошеному складі, та буквосполучення igh, формувати автоматизованість вживання мовленнєвих зразків, вдосконалювати комунікативні вміння, сприяти розвиткові самостійності мислення.
Обладнання: опорні фрази «Yes, I do. No, I do not “Yes, I can. No, I can’t.”, початок речення  I like…I do not like…, зображення мультгероїв, фонетичні завдання, завдання для відтворення алфавіту, сюжетні малюнки-завдання, запис пісень, фотографії друзів, алфавіт, тест

І. Початок уроку
1. Організаційний момент.
Good morning!-Hello!
Good afternoon!-Hi!
Good evening! Good night!
So long!-See you! Bye!
2.Phonetic drill
Look, listen and repeat.
Read  I    like [ai] in hi, five, white.
Read  y   like [ai] in why, cry.
Read igh like [ai] in night, light.

Listen silently to the phonetic song. Look at the alphabet and recollect sounds. [k æ t] [p ɪ g] [d ɔ g]
3. Aim. Dear children today we have not an usual lesson; we have the meeting with cartoon heroes. Look at the board. You can see them there. They have prepared different tasks for you, they want to know everything about your leisure time and want to retell about their activities. They have prepared some emblems which help you to show your knowledge at the end of our lesson. Now let’s say some words about yourself.
 4. Warming up.
Recite the poem. Answer the questions. Use short answers: Yes, I do. No, I do not. Yes, I can. No, I can’t
We are children from Ukraine,
We are glad to meet again!
We can read, we can play.
We can sing, we can write.
We can poem recite.

Can  you read?
Can  you write?

ІІ. Основна частина уроку.
Task 1. Our friends want to hear  the story about your friend.
Use, please,  the photo and describe it.
Example : I have a friend. His name is Stanislaw. He lives in my street. He is ten. Stanislaw is a good friend. He likes to read books, but he does not like to run and jump. Stanislaw likes to play chess, and we often play chess with him. Stanislav  speaks English well. He is a pupil. His brother Dmytro is a student. Dmytro is my friend too.
Task 2. Let’s recollect the alphabet . Link all letters in alphabet order. Listen silently the alphabet song. You have the following result.
Task 3. Read the sentences. Find the right picture. (He is Mickey Mouse. He is Donald).
Continue the  sentences I like…I do not like…



The next our quests are three brothers .What does every duck do? Write your answers.




Now we know something about heroes’ hobbies and let’s sing about our activities.
Song: I can jump like a frog,
Boing,boing!
I can swim like a fish,
Splish,splash,splish!
I can jump and I can swim,
I can dance and I can sing!
And I can run and run and run
 Just like this!

Look at the board and say what can and cann’t Goofy do? Ask your friend what  he can do .
Example:
 Olia , can you run?
-Yes, I can. (No, I cann’t.)I can run.
ІІІ.Заключна частина уроку.
Home task .Paint the picture with your favourite heroes and describe their activities, what  they like and don’t like to do.
Check your skills and find the true answer. Work  in pairs.
